MISSION

The Potter County Sheriff's Office is dedicated to the preservation of peace and the enforcement of law equally among all citizens of Potter County regardless of race, social standing or financial position. The Potter County Sheriff's Office will work with all the citizens of our community to preserve life, maintain human rights, protect property and promote individual responsibility through community commitment. We will be responsive to our community in the delivery of quality services, ever recognizing our obligation to maintain order and afford dignity and respect to every individual.

OBJECTIVE

Our objective is to improve the quality of life through a community partnership which promotes safe, secure neighborhoods in urban and rural environments. This partnership will focus on identifying and solving problems through community policing and problem-solving programs.
